These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by PensionFinderUK Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Throughout these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to PensionFinderUK Ltd.
2. Scope of Services
PensionFinderUK Ltd provides:
Pension tracing services
Pension statement understanding sessions
Savings education and guidance sessions
Bereavement pension support
Referral to FCA authorised Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) upon request
We provide guidance and education only.
We do not provide regulated financial advice, personal recommendations, or investment advice.
If you require regulated advice (for example, pension transfers, investment decisions or retirement planning), we may introduce you to an FCA authorised Independent Financial Adviser.
3. Independent Financial Adviser Referrals
Where a client requests a referral to an FCA authorised Independent Financial Adviser, PensionFinderUK Ltd may receive an introductory fee from the adviser.
This arrangement:
Does not increase the cost of advice to you
Does not create any obligation for you to proceed
Will be disclosed prior to referral proceeding
Any regulated advice is provided solely by the authorised adviser. PensionFinderUK accepts no responsibility for advice or services provided by third-party advisers.
4. Fees & Payment
Our fees are published on our website and confirmed in writing before work begins.
Payment terms:
Payment is due in advance unless otherwise agreed
Instalment option: 50% at commencement and 50% upon completion
No VAT is currently charged
Home visits incur an additional £50 travel fee. This fee is non-refundable where less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation or rescheduling is provided.
Our pension tracing fees are not contingent upon whether benefits are recovered.
5. Distance Contracts & Cooling-Off Rights
If you enter into a contract with us online, by telephone or via social media, this may constitute a distance contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
You may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the agreement.
If you request that we begin work within the 14-day cancellation period, you acknowledge that:
Work may commence immediately
You may lose your right to cancel once the service has been fully performed
You may be liable for reasonable costs for work carried out up to cancellation
6. Cancellations & Refunds
If you cancel an appointment with more than 24 hours’ notice, any prepaid service fee (excluding home visit travel fees already incurred) may be refunded at our discretion.
If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided:
Home visit travel fees are non-refundable
We reserve the right to retain part or all of the session fee to cover time allocated
Where work has already commenced (for example, pension tracing enquiries have been submitted), refunds may be reduced proportionately.
7. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information
Supply requested documentation promptly
Inform us of any relevant changes
We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or inaccurate information.
8. Limitation of Liability
PensionFinderUK Ltd provides guidance and administrative support only.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PensionFinderUK Ltd shall not be liable for:
Investment performance
Decisions taken following guidance
Advice provided by third-party advisers
Indirect, consequential or incidental losses
The total liability of PensionFinderUK Ltd shall not exceed the fee paid for the specific service provided.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
9. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

10. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for delay or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Illness
Travel disruption
IT system failures
Regulatory changes

12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
