3. Independent Financial Adviser Referrals

Where a client requests a referral to an FCA authorised Independent Financial Adviser, PensionFinderUK Ltd may receive an introductory fee from the adviser.

Any regulated advice is provided solely by the authorised adviser. PensionFinderUK accepts no responsibility for advice or services provided by third-party advisers.

4. Fees & Payment

Our fees are published on our website and confirmed in writing before work begins.

Payment terms:

  • Payment is due in advance unless otherwise agreed

  • Instalment option: 50% at commencement and 50% upon completion

  • No VAT is currently charged

Home visits incur an additional £50 travel fee. This fee is non-refundable where less than 24 hours’ notice of cancellation or rescheduling is provided.

Our pension tracing fees are not contingent upon whether benefits are recovered.

5. Distance Contracts & Cooling-Off Rights

If you enter into a contract with us online, by telephone or via social media, this may constitute a distance contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

You may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the agreement.

If you request that we begin work within the 14-day cancellation period, you acknowledge that:

  • Work may commence immediately

  • You may lose your right to cancel once the service has been fully performed

  • You may be liable for reasonable costs for work carried out up to cancellation

6. Cancellations & Refunds

If you cancel an appointment with more than 24 hours’ notice, any prepaid service fee (excluding home visit travel fees already incurred) may be refunded at our discretion.

If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided:

  • Home visit travel fees are non-refundable

  • We reserve the right to retain part or all of the session fee to cover time allocated

Where work has already commenced (for example, pension tracing enquiries have been submitted), refunds may be reduced proportionately.
